Cottages in Mid Wales and The Brecon Beacons

The Cambrian Mountains, the popular seaside town of Aberystwyth and of course the Brecon Beacons National Park, mean that Mid Wales has enough variety to suit any holiday.

There’s a wealth of activities to do in Mid Wales whether you’re a family group or holidaying with friends. The Ceredigion Coastline boasts award-winning beaches and the chance to spot what is said to be the largest pod of bottlenose dolphins in Europe!

This westerly part of Mid Wales is also a hotspot for watersports such as windsurfing, sailing, kayaking and paddleboarding, so there’ll always be plenty on offer for the adventurous water types.

Waves and wetsuits aren’t the only way to enjoy Ceredigion Bay, the 60-mile coast path offers varied walks for all capabilities with glorious coastal views around every turn.

For those who already live by the sea, the idea of being able to explore one of Wales’ most spectacular National Parks might sound like the perfect escape for a holiday; replace the blue salty swell with the rolling green of the Brecon Beacons. These mountain ranges offer a number of exciting trails which are well suited for either two wheels, four paws or sturdy hooves. Choose from one of the 14 cycle tracks that range from the Black Mountains to Brecon, or mount up at one of the local pony trekking centres for an hour, half day or full day ride in the most stunning surroundings.

For families with young children, the Llangorse Multi Activity Centre just east of Brecon is a great place for a family day out with indoor rock climbing, junior treetop challenge course, abseiling and much more.

So whatever kind of holiday you’re after, we have the perfect cottage to match in some truly stunning and memorable locations within Mid Wales and the Brecon Beacons. Call and speak to a member of the team on 0333 2020 899 to find out more.
