White Horse Farm is situated in rural Dorset. We are surrounded by miles and miles of glorious unspoilt countryside, much of which is designated as being of "Outstanding Natural Beauty".
We have four self-catering barn conversion cottages, a luxurious 3 bed (all ensuites) farmhouse annex called "The Willows" and new for 2009 a 3 bed luxury Wessex built lodge cabin.
The cottages and farmhouse annex are surrounded by 2 acres of gardens and paddock with a large duck pond. You can enjoy many delightful walks in the surrounding area and there are dozens of tourist attractions locally. If you wish to fish, walk, and horse-ride or play golf, there are facilities within a short drive. If you wish to travel further, the lovely Dorset coast is within easy reach.
"The Willows" is a converted luxurious 4 star three bed roomed self catering accommodation for up to six people. Each bedroom has en-suite facilities and lovely views over the surroundings fields and gardens. There are two double and one twin bedroom. There is a comfortable conservatory lounge with digital TV, DVD & VCR. There is a fully fitted out kitchen which is very well equipped with all the necessities you will need for a week or two away. "The Willows" has its own large private garden which is surrounded by willow trees with a patio and private entrance to the duck-pond.
Otter's Holt is new for 2009 and is a luxurious Wessex built Milbourne log cabin with three bed rooms and provides self catering accommodation for up to eight people. There is one double (en-suite) and two twin bedrooms. There is decked balcony, a large lounge with option of bed settee and a well fitted out kitchen which is equipped with all the necessities you will need for a week or two away. Otters Holt is set to the side of the paddock within a large grassed garden area with lovely country views". 26” Colour TV with digital "Freeview" and DVD & video recorder. Wireless broadband access. Unlimited free video films to borrow (over 750).
Barn Cottages
Toad Hall: This has two bedrooms. One double bedroom and one twin bedroom.
Badger's: This has a double bedroom.
Ratty's: This has a twin bedroom. Ratty's also has the added benefit of a comfortable sofa bed that can be used for family or guests.
Moley's : This has a double bedroom.
All Barn Cottages:
The kitchens are fully equipped providing everything that we think you will need for your holiday. There are large shower rooms. We provide a 20" colour digital receiving TV with a video recorder and as many video films that you have time to watch. Lounge/dining area and fully equipped kitchen, conventional and microwave ovens, colour televisions and gas central heating, fuel and lighting inclusive, private bathrooms (shower) with all facilities,
Linen and towels supplied FOC. Children welcome. Well behaved dogs by arrangement - no extra charge for two or less (cannot be left unattended).
Patio area with seating. Welcome pack with homemade cake, tea, coffee, sugar, milk and free-range eggs. Ample car parking. Hairdryer provided. Ironing board/iron available. Laundry room). Ratty's has a sofa bed to increase occupancy. We also have a z-bed. (Small supplement charged for either).
Free use of book exchange library. Video recorder with unlimited free video film rental.
Rates: From £245 to £790 per week depending on season & unit.
